Dr. Marla Hayden is the owner and lead optometrist at Heinsight Eyecare in downtown Milford. With over 20 years of experience, she is passionate about delivering personalized, high-quality eye care using the latest technology and treatments. Her specialties include preventative eye health, dry eye treatment, myopia management, and multifocal contacts. She also has a strong passion for health and nutrition and their connection to long-term eye health, empowering patients to protect and preserve their vision through healthy lifestyle choices.

Meet Dr. Marla Hayden, Eye Doctor in Milford, MI

Originally from southwestern Kansas, Dr. Hayden earned her undergraduate degree at Kansas State University and her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After practicing in Flint for 14 years, she took over Heinsight Eyecare in 2015.

Beyond the exam room, Dr. Hayden is deeply involved in the Milford community. She is President of the Milford Rotary Club, a member of the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce, and actively supports local initiatives. She and her husband, Dr. Jeff Hayden, have three children and enjoy traveling, sports, and family adventures.
